Project Architect
Raised in both the upstate and lowcountry of South Carolina, Ethan got his first taste of making things by building models in a 3D design class he took in high school. He fell in love with this hands-on approach to learning, which led him to an undergraduate architectural degree from Clemson University and a master’s degree from Virginia Tech. His master’s thesis project stemmed from a passion for music and this deep dive into the audible experience of a space helped him explore why it’s so important to design beyond the visual sense.
Ethan’s professional experience includes multi-family housing, single-family housing, educational, and civic work—a wide variety of project types and a perfect fit for SDA’s studio.
