Designer
Jalaal loved drawing since childhood and believed he’d be an artist when he grew up. Then came 8th Grade geometry. A class project sparked his interest in forms, shapes, and creating spaces, and the rest was history.
He received his architecture degree from Kennesaw State University, where his thesis focused on an adaptive reuse strategy for abandoned stadiums. Although early in his career, Jalaal’s professional experience already spans a wide range of projects from retail to office to housing. He views architecture as more than just designing a space, but constructing an extension of people’s lives and culture that can be celebrated.
Jalaal is an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA), as well as the former president of KSU’s National Organization of Minority Architecture Students (NOMAS). He’s also a dedicated sneaker-head.
